During the middle of the night, I can normally get 15 Mbps down and 0.9 Mbps up. They're currently building FTTN in my town I don't have the highest hopes.

    Advertised: 75
Actual: 40-50 on a good day, low as 15
I can pay 20 dollars a month more for the business package that will "more likely hang around 60, which is the max, and get a free static IP". I think the IP isn't free if I have to pay and get a lower supposed top speed.

This is Optimum/Cablevision in NYC and I only wonder what the competition (TWC/Fios) are like because although are in NYC, and in my zip code, and in my neighborhood, neither service my building. Sometimes the internet is faster when I'm on the train between midtown and the Lower East Side.

Spectrum / Charter 100mbit/10mbit upload. While it's not the fastest, it's fast for me as I had AT&T DSL 6mbit/768kbps. Actual speeds 110mbit/11mbit. Be nice to have 1GB in my area.

According to Cisco, South Korea has the best broadband service in the world, with an average download throughput of 33.5 megabits per second – nearly three times the speed of second-place Hong Kong – an average upload throughput of 17 megabits per second ..
