Okay, when I was at Roosevelt Stadium in ’75 it was “Wish You Were Here” tour, but I like that one on “The Wall" album more than most, Thanks for the memories!

None the less I have appreciate all of their music over the years… and here might be the reason why. Sometimes it may be only the lyrics…

Visualize this if you wish, want or will…

Back in the early ‘70s twelve incorrigible lads huddled around a turntable murmuring, “Yeah, I ate one too!”, they all nodded their heads in agreement… while another says, “I just got this new LP… well I swiped it, just for tonight... chill.” The A side plays slowly… something is passed around and around slower this time as the A side finally completes… “so cool” everyone nods their approval again…” just lay back and listen…”. the LP is finally changed to the B side… twelve incorrigible youths slowly nod imperceptibly off to sleep not knowing their young minds will imprint on the lyrics…

The LP was “Dark Side of The Moon” of course, but when I woke that morning the B side was still playing. I reckoned in days past we heard that B side at least 17 or more times that night. Every lyric, every nuance, every chord, every whisper. We all remembered that night, it became the stuff of legend at school.

We all remembered it, but on that one song at the end of side B has perhaps summed up my life... in my past and for the future.

    Short, but really great lyrics…

Interesting on your memories of Pink Floyd...

Now lets go to the present.....

Roger Waters was nominated the Biggest Anti Semitic piece of garbage on the planet (2022-23), and won "Hands Down", great accomplishment

His counterpart and co lead band member David Gilmour and his ex wife can't stand the Anti Semitic piece of garbage ex co lead member

So saying that, i have seen Pink Floyd many times in the past and now only and have seen David Gilmour live since

It is nice to know that you like and talk very highly about Pink Floyd buddy

You didn't even mention who awards this prize or what the other nominees were, what sort of journalism is this?

Anyway, I'd rather focus on the music rather than politics, so I guess I'm on Stehle's side here. May I suggest we all take a chill pill and become comfortably numb, nya?

Again Roger Waters won hands down. Just "Google" his name and see what comes up

Again my point wasn't to start any confrontation, or arguments, i was just making my point......

Another anniversary of sorts... A Movie Memorable Song on a soundtrack on this day in 2008 in the UK.

The Original by Abba... also great lyrics... (I choose CC as my default.) ...and quite appropriate... if you get my drift.

(You really start to dislike UMPG right now.)

Again... I've been told again that some Canadians may interpret this somewhat differently and ask some very strange questions.

Last one for me today, life, a bit of music history, lyrics... and perhaps a favorite of mine back in late '75...

    Take your pick

Voyage was pretty good. That may sound like faint praise, but they were their own tough act to follow.
