Thanks for the link. I share the same concerns they do in that thread.

My friend is already being paid but I can't be sure my private data is protected. Also, they can stop paying anytime and you still lose a part of the invested money in the "thread".

I'll try to know more because none of the threads i have seen are conclusive about this. I'll post here if i find something in case someone wants to know.

Now that bitcoins are so "valuable", it would not surprise me to see a "business" like this harvesting coins, and either paying or not for the combined efforts of a lagre-scale server farm.

Regardless, I have yet to see a legit source of income without working.
