Thread: What would be a good seed box hosting provider?

  1. #1
Could someone please recommend a good seed box hosting provider? I'm looking for a good and decent one. I had the $6/month with seed.st but that wasn't good for me. I'm willing to spend a little more. Would anyone be available to please recommend one for me. I don't know any of the types of seed boxes. For example, there are VPS and I don't know any other ones so I don't want to pick a wrong one then I will end up spending it for nothing. Thank you for the help!

FeralHosting if you are looking for no non-sense though there is OVH which is a dedicated provider

That is the link to OVH. What exactly am I looking for? I know I'm looking for a seedbox. Am I looking for a Dedicated server? Or VPS server? Or something else? Could you or someone please provide a direct link for the seedbox?

You can use the server as OpenVPN as well , just remember its a dedicated server so you have to install everything from your end no software support is provided but there are scripts available which makes your job easier

Do you know if they have a similar link to what you posted but does it on a Windows 7 desktop PC? I'm asking because I don't run and don't use any type of Linux.

Second, that link above to the servers such as KS 2G. It said 12.99 and I did a Google search to see how much it would cost in US dollars and it said $20.06. I don't have cash on my card but just for fun I tried to order it to see if it was $20.06 and it came out over and more then $100.

Windows require license fee and Linux > Windows ,if you dont then you have to.

seriously were your eyes closed when ordered it ? There is a reason why its coming over 100.

I would recommend feralhosting since i dont think you would be able to do the setup

Alright, then I'll go with Feral Hosting.

Would you follow this link what the poster Choppers gave to set it up? http://www.torrent-invites.com/seedb...dbox-user.html

Then after following Choppers advice, would I need to follow this? https://www.feralhosting.com/faq/view?question=5

Then that would be it. BTW, if I would to get it then I would either order the Helium or Neon option.
