These problems tend to be codec related. I use SLD Codec Pack and it works with everything I have tried. Though I haven't tried the one you mention. If this one doesn't work you may have to try something else, e.g. the up to date Nimmo Pack is also very good.
Try a program like GSpot to check the file. It will let you know what codecs are required and if they are installed.
These are the normal problems.
If you try this and it doesn't work then please post more details. Someone will be able to help.
