try using 195.167.64.193 : 80
this proxy hid my ip about 30 secs ago so it is up it's a bit slow though.

i just try a dif isp and it worked so it looks like aol wont let me use one anyway it was slow as hell

I've heard somewhere else about problems with aol and using proxy's but never really heard that much about it. you could use proxy sites if you need to use a proxy something like www.megaproxy.com is alright

AOL must be controlling my Internet Explorer with there aol software

Dont waste your time with proxies. Most don't work properly. Some websites and game servers wont work correctly if there isn't an IP present.

First you find working proxies, then click on Tools > Internet Options > Connection > LAN Settings > In the Proxy Server box, check the first box, then check the box that says Bypass proxy server for local addresses, then uncheck the first box again and it should be done.
