Surely if he was a real hero, he would be checking out the prick holding the camera.

He is lucky that it was a camera the prick was holding. If it had been a gun, he could have had his brains blown, and never would have known his life was in danger, because he was so focused on the road ahead, he failed to notice that some prick, holding a gun (or camera), was right beside him.

I hate people who obviously have tunnel vision. They fail to notice everything that is happening around them, because they blinker themselves to what is happening right in front of their noses.
