Besides the atrocious pitch, would it kill these guys to throw in a couple bucks via a proxy donor? Half-assed.

A little spit n polish like that would go a long way towards appearing legit.

After 8 hours (assuming they came straight here due to their undying love and support for the site/community), they have raised $0.

Call me generous, but I am thinking about doubling it.

I am not a pirate and have in fact never even been to the Caribbean.

Also as it is my understanding that it costs nothing except the the occasional Code Red Mountain Dew to sit at a computer and write code, may I inquire what exactly besides ripping me off would my donation money be used for?
