i'm surprised that uploading/contributing to nzb section doesn't count as posting

I agree. I only post when I have something to say which adds to the conversation. I always try to punctuate properly as well. LOL

Indeed, doubt there is anyway to separate spam from other posts, but uploads should have been given some sort of credit to count towards being able to download in the new system.

Maybe it will get resolved over time as it all beds in and credit where credit is due can be organised & recognised.

Agree with the credit concept, but if you've seen the state of commentary in that section, what we'll end up with (at this point) is people snaking nzbs from other sites, or a search engine and posting them half-assed. I've already had to edit an incomplete set, a passworded set with no pwd, posters too lazy to scrape or copypasta the nfo etc. Just more work for the staff.

At this point it's like just donate the 5 or 10 bucks and be done with it.
