Not that I'm complaining - but don't you believe forcing people to post is going to create more idiotic and pointless forum posts? I've been here with other sites in the past - and the forums take a hit. People post when it's something they believe in or are passionate about. Forcing them to post is never, in my 40+ years, been a good thing for any forum (and I'm going back into the BBS days). Just my two cents...

Maybe you are not complaining but the old farts who call this place home most certainly are (they have no sense of humour!), however, the site owner has his rules and the rest of us have to abide by them, this is his place after all, just that he doesn't have to wade through the treacle bath of shit posts that have cropped up, never mind the poor mods who have to moderate them

Not sure the intent is being established - don't particularly care for the policy, but will post something to meet the requirement. Seems kind of a heavy handed way to run the forum. Some just don't particularly have anything to add/upload.

I am kind of the same as shnpz.. on other sites where I had to post on forums I know it has led to me being more active there and involved.
