Have you tried any of the earlier versions of the Kazaa codec pack???

Because what happened to me was, when I installed a newer release of the codec pack, that I couldn't watch some movies anymore. All I got was some coloured lines on a black background going from the top right corner to the bottom left corner. This ocurred in Windows Mediaplayer, Bs player and Avipreview. What I did was, remove the codec pack completely and install a slightly older release of the pack and the problem was gone. It's just a suggestion you could try.
