    I gave it a shot. Luckily, I did not have to invest in any real equipment due to software players, downloads, and shopping on Amazon for old-school glasses. Read about the other issues, and decided it was not worth the experience. Easier on a 40-ish inch television than on a 102" screen, but still not long-term worth it. And, I wanted to enjoy it...

    Avatar is my favorite 3D movie. I really wish other movies would stop trying to use it as a gimmick and just let it increase your immersion.

    Couldn't see Gravity but i heard that it was technically great. So i'll stay on avatar.
    Usually they do 3d in post prod just to get more money :-(
