Does anyone know the best place to find NZB's for old, classic movies from the 1950s?

Sadly the old nzb sites that I knew of that had them have closed down or been closed down.

Let me see if I can find an old pack, yes found one, there is a 91GB pack posted, 219 days ago, passworded, has 116 movies inside from 1950-1951, which makes me think there may be more.

If interested and you can search a filename, PM me.

SD or HD? A good place to start is simply run the titles past a good indexer (NZBIndex for starters).

Like Beck said. Put in a date like 1950, then size parameters eg 400MB--->5000MB, and you'll get a list of movies from 1950, and the groups will be there too.

The problem with that schema is that many (in fact, most) title headers or nzb/nfo's don't contain the theatrical release date, not to mention all the scrambled headers out there (surely over 50% of posted 'material' these days). Still leaves a fair amount that are 'searchable', but then you're back to having the date contained in the title field.

There are posters who do, however, even some who scramble the headers but go the extra step of posting nfo/nzb's 'in the clear' so folks can 'make the link' (use of some brainpower) between the scrambled postings and the nfo/nzb.

Just not as easy as it was in the 'good ol days'.
