uploading to newsgroups

hi what are the risks in uploading to newsgroups versus downloading i just started to upload , ive been running though a vpn

Do you use SSL when uploading as well?

yes its encrypted through vpn and giganews also has SSL

Make sure that your VPN data link carries your data as close as possible to the input port of the service you are using.

Since apparently is Giganews, you need to choose a VPN service that has LA ports and utilize that rather than anywhere else, as that will keep the data hyper-encrypted all the way to that point, and then rely on the SSL only 2-3 jumps from there to the GIganews input port.
