I love usenet - get to max my connection out downloading stuff Used to use torrents before I discovered usenet/nzbs - while that was good, it use to be really frustrating having your downloads trundle along at modem speeds at times or be sat there at 99.9% for days on end. What other alternates are there out there? Sites with direct downloads (mega/rapidshare) don't tend to stay up for too long, and hard to find ftp sites with content that haven't been nuked.

Private trackers and a seedbox which uploads and downloads at 11MB/s. Modem speeds? HA Far from it. Breadth of content that actually stays up and no dealing with junk files and horrific par files.

Yea and by using a seedbox you're not only limited by your own speed (you downloading from the seedbox via FTP), you have the extra overhead of downloading the torrent to your seedbox. It's rather senseless to use seedboxes to claim that you can download files at blistering speeds.
