yea. running ur cpu at below 0 temps r bad for the cpu. b careful not to fuk up ur cpu dude. but nice work. that's some nice temps, and dangerous tempsOriginally posted by lynx@22 November 2003 - 22:42
I take it you mean 11.5C not 11.5F? Otherwise I hope you've got plenty of antifreeze in there cos it's going to freeze solid any second, then bang goes your processor.![]()

Not true.......
The Mach Refrigeration Cases, run at below Zero, and it's considered the best cooling system you can get, and for 900 bucks it should be.
So I don't think it's going to hurt the chip.

Al, What do you mean "three fans in a row"?Originally posted by SciManAl@22 November 2003 - 21:21
i am trying to use 3x 120 mm fans(in a row, running at half power) ducted into a 80 mm radiater... very silent, but when i put my hand behind the radiater it has enough power to puch my hand away from the exhaust hehehe MORE POWER YAY!!!![]()
Side by side or stacked one behind the other?
You are using alcohol instead of water as the fluid medium in this system, how did the pump like the change?
I am not terribly surprised by the results of your experiment, I would expect dramatic temp drops with a near frozen radiator.
Have you considered getting a little refrigerator and putting the radiator in that?
Your results may not be as extreme as with salted, icy water, but much more sustainable.
