Again Bat, Bate, Bates, etc. are you not adding or subtracting a letter and changing one?? Or else the game will end after a few post no??

The game is called Change 1 Letter. Not ADD or SUBTRACT 1 letter. Adding or subtracting a letter does not CHANGE a letter.

Have you read the RULES of the first post? I shall qote here, with relevant section highlighted:

The object is to change one letter ONLY, and make a new word. You can drop a letter or add a letter, but only change one thing.

So changing a letter and adding another would be two things.
