My main music interests are sticking around classical music and jazz/blues. I tend especially toward instrumental music rather than vocal. And among the whole world of instrumental music I'm particularly fascinated by piano music. Actually, I do not mind some R&B, some electronic music. Additionally, my music tastes are constantly evolving so who knows what I might discover next?

The first two are quite melancholic. The third one sounds rather interesting. And BTW it looks interesting too. I would rate the performer piano technique as great. It has a little bit too much reverberation for my own taste, but it seems to be a requirement for contemporary music styles.
I'm more into Classical and Jazz piano. As, for example, "Chopin Mazurka Op. 17 No. 4 Paderewski Rec. 1912" and "Oscar Peterson - Wave". However, I would say that you definitely intrigued me with the third video and I will check out more of those. Thanks for the share.

If I wanted highbrow, I'd take a ballet company hostage.

"I - V - VI - IV" and you're all done... I'm going to take this into account.

The third is also melancholic in a different way, but it's okay, because that's where piano truly shines. As for the musical theory stuff, I know nothing about it and I'm happy that way; the more you analyze these things, the less you enjoy them.

No offense to anyone except Idol.

Good point. I can agree with you. Sometimes I find myself not listening to music, but analyzing music theory instead. But real art begins when you don't think about music theory while listening, even if you know it. This kind of thing begins when the performer is just playing with your emotions, touches your soul. Thus no matter what the style / genre is, it can become my favorite music, if I can feel it. That's actually might be the way I evaluate if the music is worthful.

Now I know who speaks music language (knows music theory) on this forum.
