Has anyone tried to play a movie that doesn't play. Text file came with it says if it doesn't play to open codec file which is a bunch of junk.i take it the 4G file is no good?

If there is a txt file that says you need to install an included codec to view the file, it's probably bogus. Most of the time, you already have the needed video codecs on your computer. I dl and install the K-Lite Codec pack from a trusted source and never had the need to install any additional codecs to view a file (with the exception of quicktime and real player). Before you dl a 4 gig file set, dl the first .rar file. Double click it and you'll see if there's another set of rar files within. If there is, that's a sign it may be bogus. There are sometimes legitimate uploads that have been compressed more than once for some reason, but that's fairly rare.
