the first one has a .27 dotpitch and the second has a 0.21, what noticeable diference should there be etc?

Read the last Review thing....It says its actually a .27 which I believe is true. A .21 for that cheap would be nice though...lol I think it has to do with like the pixel size or something....the smaller the clearer and better it looks.

It means how many pixels are in a millimeter on the screen

0.27 would be a little less than 4 pixels a mm
0.21 would be almost 5 pixels a mm

some things are cheaper at one, and some at the other, dabs used to be cheaper, but lately they seems to be getting dearer than ebuyer, im getting all my new pc from ebuyer, apart form my board and monitor, which dabs has for cheaper, and ebuyer doesnt have any cheap flat crt monitors

I bought a samsung syncmaster 753df 17" monitor about 2 months ago for 169.99 canadian. Its a really good deal and a really good monitor expecially for the price! .20mm dot pitch (very clear picture) and its 17". Havent had any problems with it at all and im very happy with this purchase. Id recomend you look into this monitor.

the sonys use a slighty different technology, i think the use appeture grills, insted of basic chicken wire that normal monitors use,

I've got a 21inch Sony I picked up secondhand at a computer auction for AUD$400. I never want a smaller monitor again.
