There was a brief period in the 70's/80's or some long forgotten time, when tennis players had personality and tennis was actually fun(see McEnroe clip).
This too short period was before the Eastern Europeans began to do the Ivan Drago training type thing and consequently brought it to other countries and after the blank English/Australian types started to get their asses handed to then by the slightly mental Americans.

Post script: Women's tennis has never been fun. Many things factor into this - lesbianism, menstrual cycles and Black people among others.

    This concludes today's lesson.

Best North American sports fight ever. There are better European/South American ones obviously, because let's face it those people have nothing to live for.

Should be the perfect storm for fights though...

There's gotta be a moment of realization when a pro hockey player climbs into the stands at you with stick in hand...then his whole team follows.

Lets not forget about the time Vernon Maxwell ran into the stands and broke a fans nose who was heckling Maxwell about his dead child.

And of course who can forget Ron Artest and co. swarming on fans in the stands.

Serena Williams will open her campaign at the Collector Swedish Open on Wednesday against No.215-ranked Belgian qualifier Ysaline Bonaventure, who has never faced anyone higher than No.90 before.

It's like tennis except the audience tends to fall asleep less.
