    your question needs to more specific, are you building it yourself? how do you define 'good'? how much you want to spend, etc!

    I'm gonna get my head bit off, cause for some reason people dont like dells. But i have a dell, its been workign fine for over a year. i like it a lot. But build your own, i wish i would have.

    I don't think anyone's going to bite your head off, Dells are good computers, if your an average user. I recommend Dell's to many people.
    Especailly for people who have never used a computer, Dell has great Tech Support, and if a person is just into surfing the web and doing spreadsheets, then Dell is perfect.

    Building a computer is Ideal, but the majority of the people out in the real world, wouldn't have a clue what to do with what.

    I'd choose Dell or E-Machine's If I ever bought a PC again, which I will never do, but they have good deals, and like I said before for the average non-gamer, there good enough.
