Thread: Can I Download Windows Xp?

  1. #11
    noob alert! noob alert!
no offense, but more than half of the large files u get from klite is fake or corrupt. verified dls are extremely slow, and turn out corrupt anyway. dude, get it from www.suprnova.org

u need bittorrent. so go check out the other p2p section in filesharing. theres a pinned topic on bittorrent.

remember, klite is only for some movies, music, keygens, and small software. games, new movies, good software should i be dled from either irc or bittorrent.
. yes, i know, kazaa can suck for xp. i did get mine from kazaa, but it was before i knew about bittorent. However, since dbs seems like a newbie, and since he was asking in the kazaa board, i just figured he was looking to dl in kazaa. but, if you notice, i said "other file sharing programs" also, i have never had a problem with a download off of kazaa, i have gotten my xp pro and my microsoft office 2003. maybe you have just had bad luck?

    im curious when you say

Get It to Work Without a CD???
do you mean you have not got a cd burner, because if you dont you cannot install windows xp. you need to boot to the cd of it to install it you can just download an executable and install it.

I got both my versions of Widows XP (Pro and Corp) off the fasttrack network.

    Both worked perfectly.

You will need to burn your copy, no matter where you get it, to a CD for installation.

Not true. I can access the installer without booting the CD. I know this to be true because my laptop CANNOT boot CDs. So I created a boot disk with my laptop's CD drivers on it, and MANUALLY started the installer from the DOS prompt.
