K++ Suggestion

Could you add a a feature in k++ to run a program (antivirus) on every downloaded file when completed ?

A good anti-virus already should scan all files that are created, accessed or modified on your computer.

Yes but I don't like the antivirus running in the background in auto-protect mode. I prefer to run it on every downloaded file. If this could be done automatically it would be easier. My download manager alredy got this feature.

Yes, BUT in this way every read/create/modify operation would be slowed down. I want to run the antivirus ONCE only on DANGEROUS files (downloaded).

so are you saying that you have disabled the resident scanner in norton? as its enabled by default and everyone would reccomend you have a resident scanner, if your worried about resources, why the hell are you using norton anti-virus! go get avg if its resources your worried about

It&#39;s not really true norton check files opened for write when they got closed, and check application files when they loaded to the memory.

paul made a scanner that uses the nod32 on demand scanner thats about it
