Art is art. It is what makes us human. It allows us to speak with or without words. It's brush stokes, stills, screams of protest, joy and apologies, it's kisses and touches. It can be soft and raw. It's photos of family and photos of mountains, it's songs sang in the key of scream and bloody safety pins, it's a five octave range voice that reaches sonic heights of bliss. Art is ink on the arm of your brother and the backs of mothers. Art rocks, raps, shreds, bangs, and funks it the fuck up.
Art is more important than tanks, guns, politicians, preachers and thieves in suits. It's an expression of our collective culture.
Keep making art, keep passing and sharing it.
Word.
Peace, Paul
