Bearshare load on startup question

When I downloaded bearshare 10 sometimes the load on startup is checked when I download it and if I delete it and reinstall it again then it will not be checked to load on startup. Why does it do this ? And which is the default setting. I know I donwloaded the newer version bearshare 12 and it has load on start up by default and it does the same tnjng if I remove it donwloaded again and it will have it unchecked. When I don't even mess with it any of the times. I am just trying to determine default settings for a report study

But when I unistall all other versions of bearshare or if I download it to another folder on my computer it always has the box for load on start up unchecked

When I delete all the other bearshare files on my computer and reinstall v10 or if I save bearshare 10 and download in to a different folder the box to load on start up is unchecked. So would this be the default setting for v10 then
