Watch Tv On My Computer

hi, i'm thinking of saying goodbye to my tv, need some spare cash, and i hardly watch the damn thing anyway.

but i do wanna watch the daily news, and the odd movie from time to time. is there a way i can watch the tv channels on my computer?
or is that not possible without an arial? coz i don't wanna go to the news site for instance and watch it in streaming coz i'm on a damn limited download rate

you can buy a tv card, just plug the card to ur computer and connect it to the cable you are in business

i have a tv card in my pc, i bought it for a tenner and i just plug my aerial cable into it and watch tv on it. its not so good as my monitor is only 17inch while my tv in my room is 21'.
