Unlike regular football, I'd pay money to see this.

I've been watching a bunch of soccer but I feel cheated since I haven't yet had any opportunity to turn hooligan and do mindlessly violent things to show my support for the game.

I hope it happens soon because all this pent-up anger against minorities is going to waste.

Barbados eliminated from World Cup qualifying after fielding ineligible player in the second leg of their victory over Aruba.

Maybe you shouldn't care and this is normal. But haven't you thought that barbadosians, arubans and dutch members of this site would be interested?

    Update-

Hiddink was the wrong man for Netherlands - De Boer

Not really as so far none of them have shown much of an interest in anything.

Canada will face Belize in the third qualifying round while American Samoa, Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga will contest Round One due to ranking and sporting reasons.

What is the point only the regulars going to be on top.

The point is anyone could reach the top, including the most insignificant nation on the face of the Earth.

Would this was true about sport but obviously it's not. As much as we hope an underdog can win, they don't.

In league play, on any given day where teams are within 50% talent-wise of each other and it's not the play-offs and people aren't even really trying that hard then maybe. Even then, it's a once in a generation type thing and that's why the '69 Mets are a rallying cry and the '98 Yankees are a footnote.

I'll stand corrected when all the usual teams don't advance.
