I heard on a business show that Israeli consumers have access to a triple-play package including 100MB broadband connection for about $25/mo. Wow.

Here is a less-than-exceptional resource I was able to find. I have found other information that collaborates some of these claims. The difficulty in finding old info is that there is now talks of subsidizing broadband for poorer families. Buries searches for "government subsidies Comcast broadband".

Not trying to be late but Im thankful they are not going to be the largest conglomerate company. We pay Exorbitant prices for bullshit service that all seems like the same fake reality shows, If i want that just gimme my damned Jerry Springer and Steve Wilcos. I dont give a shit what the Wahlburgers of the Real housewifes of Georgia or New Jersey of Atlanta are doing, I enjoy my local stations and resent since I dont want to see 20 yr old movies on HBO or Starz why the hell I should have to watch 14 stations of music when i have a stereo and why I am forced to include stations NOT in my native language just to view the Cowboy channel for my father who is 87.
