I remember the first time I ever file shared, I had a pentium 4 266mhz in my bedroom with AOL dial up. I was 16 years old and thought fuck yeah! I'm gonna download porn and a film! So I found my way to vanilla kazaa and typed in some shit like "lesbian porn" (being day 1 of being a n00b) and downloaded an amature 3 minute clip of three not very attractive women on a kitchen floor, squirting on each other - jackpot! For the film, I downloaded what I thought was the first Resident Evil film - took forever to download and turned out to just be the films soundtrack

Then I went from kazaa to klite to torrents, never moved past them. Never looked into usenet or streaming

I'm into VMs though with MAC spoofing, proxy/vpn etc but I haven't bothered to download a film in such a long time, I don't even keep up with what's coming out. I pay for netflix and Sky Nowtv and the stuff I do torrent is TV stuff I could watch anyway just without all the bullshit commercials and the day before it airs

If there's a pc game I want I just buy it through steam, occasionally I'll torrent it first to make sure my machine will run it but if the game has online stuffs then I'll happily pay for it
