Aside from all the fucking quality intrigue and tantalising character development and sublime production and riveting performances and all the wee cool things, something has just struck me.
It's fucking class, that anachronistic thing they pull with Radiohead and Soundgarden et al on the player piano. But I'm now thinking that it's not just a nice trope. It hasn't been made clear as to which point in the future the whole thing is set. It could be maybe 2,000 years from now and the history of popular music has become confused.
