I feel that being born to a certain social status and being funneled along in his schooling and career because of both that and because he clearly was going to toe the party line on most if not all issues got him to where he is and not genuine merit.

Calling me names isn't the same as refuting what I said. The question therefore remains did he appear in his testimony to be someone of exceptional intellect or as Bush Jr once puit it "a man of the highest integrity"?

Also I will admit that his parents do appear to have brought themselves up by their bootstraps but their son on the other hand went to a fucking prep school and didn't work any harder at anything than the average kitchen worker let alone his Yale classmates. His father also was a Yale law grad which counts for something when Brett himself applied. Dad is also a Washington lobbyist which means he has connections which also is a leg up.
For the Repugnantins though his biggest assets are that he's a White male and a subservient political operative. that basically checks the only two boxes guys like Linseed Graham Cookie care about.

The only hope that remains now is that having achieved his "destiny" he will finally feel unencumbered by political pressure and decide to start ruling fairly.

I sincerely apologize for the name calling Idlol, especially on a serious topic, and we can only hope that the future Supreme Court Judge Kavanaugh, respects the position.....
And really even being a conservative Judge, the rule of law and precedents must apply, so unless this was all an act, and he faked hours of being questioned, I don't think politics will sway him even after the dumb accusations in the end. Time will tell, and i think Americans have to think positive...

PS. I can say to you from experience Idol that myself i did not have have the privileged to attend private schools, but i did send mine, and so did a lot of other families that had to struggle to pay for it, in hopes to get a better education and maybe have the upper hand at a better job/profession in the future, i don't see anything wrong with that....

Everyone should have equal opportunity to something as fundamental as a good education and private schools create a two tier system. Force powerful people to invest and I'm not just talking monetarily, in public education instead. That would be of more benefit to society as a whole.

I don't do combat sports as they are sort of barbaric and feed into people's worst instincts and I'll fight anyone who disagrees with me about this.
