The principal feature of antifa groups is their use of direct action, with conflicts occurring both online and in real life. They engage in varied protest tactics, which include digital activism, property damage, physical violence, and harassment against those whom they identify as fascist, racist, or on the far-right.

Activists involved in the movement tend to be anti-capitalists and subscribe to a range of ideologies, typically on the left. They include anarchists, socialists and communists along with some liberals and social democrats. Their stated focus is on fighting far-right and white supremacist ideologies directly, rather than through electoral means

Next.... We do have this crap in Canada, but not as bad as the US, and if you ever watch any interview that one of these nutjobs, they really don't have any clue why they are rioting or really know what they are trying to accomplish other than destruction of private property and think they have a free pass doing it...
So - you don't care for them either, huh?

Like i said it is really funny calling me a White Nationalist, because i don't like some of the ridiculous policies of a party, and then pointing out some of the good ones.. Like all of those ANTIFA's nutjobs should be working at a fucking job during the day and trying to make a living, especially knowing that in the US has a booming economy..But they are hoping that some other party gets in and will give them free money to riot?? Saying that, would ANTIFA stop doing there shit if they got what they have no clue what they want

That is my view and opinion, your turn Idol since you like violence so much, what do you think.......
Can't won't speak for Idol, but I'm a bit mystified at what you might think of my leanings - as a pure-hearted Conservative, I am constantly baffled at how many people think Antifa is an organ of the Right.

Tell me what you know, tell me what you think.

Do not tell me what you think you know.
I know is Brexit is a move to extract the UK/Britain from the current incarnation of the European Union - ostensibly at the behest of the voting public, but hindered/obscured by politicians who think they know better.

From where I sit, it seems the deal should have been done by now; I tend to side with the people, not the pols.

While I'm at it, a word about word-bricks:

As one of the original offenders, as well as being one of the originators of the solutions (if you want people to read your shit, you have to aid in keeping them from going cross-eyed while doing so), I would suggest you begin by double-spacing every line you type.

Also, make a point or two per post to encourage response, rather than fostering a perception you are issuing a homework assignment.

If you can manage this, I will offer additional pointers as we proceed.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money

There is propaganda and then then are facts.

    Taxes https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tips/an-o...-tax-rates-286

Tobacco is heavily taxed to help offset the harm it does and to also make it's usage less desirable especially by young people. Granted, it's also an way to gain tax revenue for the government that doesn't upset a lot of people so not every motive is entirely pure.

As for products/produce costing more in Canada, I'm afraid the largest factor is the price gouging, not currency inequality, smaller markets or corporate taxation. You only have to look at how cheaply the cost of making things are and how greatly discounted things can be on sale for to see the truth in that. Also farmers, you know the people to to a great extent who keep us alive aren't the ones getting rich.

Democrats. You rant about the "liberal media" and yet you are the one posting Fox/White House talking points rote.

Trump. Please. Unless graft, pettiness, stupidity, ignorance, racism, lies, destroying the environment and the education system golf and Twitter are good for the American people then he has done literally nothing.

If you can look at Bill Taylor's testimony and not say all involved, including the President, should go to jail then you are a more delusional man than I.

PS Not "whining" concerning the popular vote would require you not bringing it up in the first place.

Btw Forgive me but conservative is just another way to say that your main concern is money and that you're afraid of change isn't it?

Let's be serious for a moment, because you really don't take it serious enough. What you are saying is akin to "You don't like Hitler? Well, don't go to his rallies, then..." -- how did that work out in the long-run?

Fact is that Fox News is a propaganda machine that is brainwashing people. And yes, there are respectable news people working there, that is not in question. But the mixing of "news" with "opinions" that the average viewer most likely does not recognize, and their tendency to just make shit up and/or to not report critical news is a problem. Democracy lives when there's a system of checks and balances, and an independent media is part of that system. if there is neither check nor (fair and) balance, you have a problem that you don't solve by simply not tuning in.

Same problem with Facebook not holding political ads to the same truth standard as every other postings on their platform if you are knowingly spreading misinformation, or just don't care that your platform is (ab)used for that purpose, you are abdicating certain responsibilities to society.

I'll get off my soapbox now.

Let me boil it down to one thing you can understand.

New tariffs/quotas/duties/nationally varying product standards/etc increase transactional costs that most likely will not be made up by any devaluing of the currency, leading to greater expense for the population and a lowering of the living standard.

If you don't get that, go read up on the whole comparative advantage thing...
