No, not at all! I ran into a few issues myself at first that were courteously sorted by a... friend of a friend of a friend (...so on and so forth). Do some research and perhaps choose a forum with the specialty's you seek.

Recommendations: Perhaps a VPN and at least a 100mbs internet connection. (Those 1080p or 4K streams may warrant it someday.)

100mbps is a bit too much at present. Even a adsl connection is more than enough these days. Maybe in the future one may need more, but not right now...

Been using Kodi on a FireStick for a while now, very nice to access media files.. wasn't aware of addons for it though - thanks for pointing that out, will have to look into those.
