Torrents let strangers in any location "share" files, Superbeam appears to be a file transfer tool that lets known authenticated devices share with you.

If you want to transfer files between devices you own then superbeam might be good but if you want to get those files in the first place then use torrents.

The quotes about superbeam should explain this:
