Thread: Looking for a Powerful laptop

  1. #1
I often do Video editing and converting on my Sony laptop using Adobe Premiere.

    My laptop spec is:
    Intel Pentium M processor 1.73GHz
    1.50GB RAM

However, while editing videos, my laptop gets too slow. I really want to upgrade the processing speed of my Laptop.

Can you tell me whats the most powerful (and portable) laptops available.
Can I upgrade my existing laptop?

    Thanks for the info

Don't get Sony, unless money is not a limiting factor because although their products are of high quality, they are also usually overpriced.

In the past I had Acer Aspire series. I weighed 7KG. I wouldn't call that portable.

When I am searching for a 'powerful' laptop, what spec should I be looking for? Is it 'Intel Core 2 Duo' or 2+GB RAM ?

    Thanks
