the water copany is doing work on the pipes i guess and so they are makeing us shut off the water in our houses its like wtf? im not a certified water tech person i donno how the hell the water valve works they better pay us for this crap

If they informed you of the work being done before starting it and that you'd have no water supply during that work then they don't have to pay you a penny
If they'd just shut the water off without warning though, then you could have claimed something back from them.
