Unable to create a folder in Windows

Hi

Can anyone tell me why we can not create a folder or rename a folder with filename CON in windows ,when i tried doing this it is displaying error "The specified device name is invalid"

There are some restrictions due to its security feature, that's why folder creation or rename functionality not works in Window.

Before that, let's see if a simpler solution will work.

1. Open a Windows Explorer window by clicking on a folder.

2. Click Organize.

3. Click Folder and Search Options.

4. Click View.

5. Under Advanced Settings, select Launch Folder Windows in a Separate Process.

6. Click OK.
