After the fall of BayFiles, I'm not currently aware of a free file host that 1. doesn't require registration, 2. retains uploads for a reasonable amount of time, 3. has no waiting times or speed limits. If point #2 doesn't bother you, Send (see https://github.com/timvisee/send-instances) is good and also end-to-end encrypted.

PixelDrain looks good, thanks 90-day inactivity timeout, and the limitations for free users are all reasonable. Only downside I see is that it seems to be a single person's massively oversized hobby, and therefore could evaporate the day he no longer has enough time or revenue to keep it running... but let's enjoy it while it's still around!

    What is it??
I think their homepage's subtitle says it all: "Max upload size is 10 GB & files expire after 48 hours". After the shut down of DropCanvas (which offered similar functionality but with multiple files per link and a customizable time limit), it was the second best thing I could find.
I think sqzfile.com might be the solution.?? It's all about zip files.
