Haven't updated qBittorrent in forever. In the past, I have updated and started fresh with all of my current downloads (files I'm seeding) just dropped and went fro there. I'd like to know if it's possible to keep everything active without going through the work of loading everything back in.

I generally have well over 100 files seeded, many of them under a month.

If you are running 3 series qbitorrent stick with it.

4 series has had lots of trouble reporting stats and seeding time on private trackers.

    for example

    I've updated qbittorrent many times

It always asks to close since I leave it open, and retains my settings during the removal/upgrade process

I think the only thing I've ever had reset is my queue settings (active torrents) but that could have been a fluke...
