But that is because those states are mostly wide open country where nobody wants to live. Move into the large metropolitan areas of those states and the cost of living is expensive. The republican controlled states look nice in the city/town centers and tourist areas (maintained by cheap labor, illegals), but the rest of the state is a shit-hole. There are more homeless in the republican states (weather a factor, and republicans don't support "services"). Jobs pay more in Democrat states. Partially why cost of living is higher. Why do you think medical school costs so much today? Because doctors get paid a lot of money today.

The Electoral College should be gone. It worked for the most part back in the day when most people lived either on the east or west coasts. Now plenty of people live in the middle of the country. It's just not needed anymore. Plus, gerrymandering allows elections to be stolen. Every other election is decided by whomever gets the highest number of votes, I don't see why President shouldn't be any different. If you want to keep the Electoral College, then every state should have the number of senators and representatives that represent it based on population. North Dakota has a population of 672,591 people. California has a population of 37,253,956 people. Yet both have two senators. The system needs to be updated.
More shit, starting from the opening sentence.

Put down the Koolaid and step away from the pitcher.

I am going to do you a small favor - I am going to tell you how to begin to think about things...

Begin by ditching your ideological trappings, whatever they may be - stop thinking about things in terms of Left/Right, Liberal/Conservative, Democrat/Republican.

Instead, think of Urban vs Suburban/Rural.

    Got that?

    Now, explain San Francisco.

If you can manage to effectively blame that on the Right/Conservative/Republican contingent, go no further - you're beyond salvation.

Once you've properly concluded why San Francisco is the way it is, think again about the Electoral College and try to defend doing away with it.

    Do it now.
Oh yeah!!! I don't drink koolaid. Only water and Irish Whiskey.

San Francisco is in California. It is crowded and expensive to live at. It has a large gay community. It's very hilly. Some great movies have been filmed there (Bullitt and Dirty Harry). Their football team is the 49ers and baseball the Giants. It has had some major earthquakes.

What does the Electoral College have to do with San Francisco?

I would respectfully suggest that the dearth of responses is for similar reason that no one talks to a stone or answers the door for Mormon missionaries.

As for San Francisco, kinda of a testament to greed and bigotry with an added course of mental illness. I will say this to the ether though that the word "conservative" is rarely used outside of politics in anything other than a mildly pejorative way. Just saying something to maybe ruminate on, ether.

I used to make a hobby out of collecting whiskey/whisky/bourbon when I could throw my money away more freely. The good news is that except for Midleton, whiskey still tends to be cheaper than a good single malt What's your drink of choice?

Is he suppose to ignore the fact that every authoritarian ever said the exact same thing? Or that's it's then hardly a favour?

Heh MacGyver, here's an idea. Look at the facts and then form your own opinion. It may turn out to be wrong but at least it will be yours.

Interesting response Idol, isn't that the reason why we have Antifa and White Nationalists??

Here is a very true story from a conversation yesterday with my son.....

He went to a Halloween party with his girlfriend, about 40 people and the majority of them were Gay.. I asked him if he

felt uncomfortable?? And he said that is the problem...................

places people live in your country right....49 more.....Works like that in Canada as well.....

Really Idol, are you actually reading/watching what the Democrats want??

Are you saying the Republicans don't want to give more freedom and more choice??

Take out the Green New Deal, because it is a fantasy!!!, now look at the rest between both parties, and who wants to give

    more choice to the people??

I know a lot of this pipe dream shit will be gone from the Dems, once they have a nominee, but wow!!!!!

Here is the media in a nutshell....

    Republicans are White Nationalists...

    Democrats are Antifa....

Both have Moderates in the Middle!!!!! I like to find a news or media outlet that speaks to them.........

Not big on remastered stuff that doesn't really need remastering.Kinda, sorta like colourization. Things lose a bit of their authenticity.

    Also Graham Chapman was gay.

I like Irish whiskey myself, but prefer American bourbon.

    Okay, you've googled Frisco.

Do you have the first idea why it's so fucked-up?

    I guessing not.

What can you tell me about the Founding of America?

What do you know about the intent of the Electoral College?

    Guessing that's another goose egg.

Google isn't the answer for you, either.
