Connecting On A University Connection

I know this prolly comes up alot, but I jus can't connect here. I tried changing the port in the options>firewall but still nothing. I just get connecting... in the bottom.

is there any other way around this?

back up your registry and see if this helps

Go where you installed KL and change the name of "KazaaLite.kpp" to something else. Click Start, Run and write regedit. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\K++ and change "ApplicationName" to same as "KazaaLite.kpp"s new name. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\K++ and do the same.

tryed this but syill see "connecting",nothing else happens ,am in college (www.ucd.ie) think i am behind firewall ,do not have to log into network like most students cos i work on a post graduate computer,
can not get this still thing to work,using windows xp,....
