Anyone come across this yet? I could find all the episodes doing a raw search, but would take a long time. There is a website that has all the 720p/1080p rips listed. Unfortunately I can only grab 5 NZBs per day (88 Episodes I believe). I'm in no rush, but I have free time right now to start watching.

MacGyver has to break down and join the 21st century on practices of Usenet, that is if he wants things to be easier and have less work on looking for things, and have more time on watching things!!
And i don't mean any disrespect buddy, but it is like anything, if you want ease of things pay, and not worry about "sticking it to the man" attitude. And the truth!! If it is not uploaded by someone in a Binary Group, that removes the obfuscation?? Joining a good NZB site is the only alternative if you want stuff in the future that is not posted here, or get the 5-25 free download limit....

Shay, you are too young. You understand not the joys of articles. Newsgroups came from our time but the underlying bit has a lot more interest if you delve.... NZB just made things easy for those with little knowledge

Come on now Gribley!!, Was a subscriber of Giganews since year one, still have xnews on my PC (somewhere), i remember the wonderful days of loading headers!!
I am assuming you are joking Gribley, but yes NZB's are easier, isn't that the point?? I find it quite nice that someone else be it a person manually or a searching program/bot is now helping me out on a private site and giving me more time to watch shows movies etc...If you think using NZB makes you stupid?? Well call me stupid while you are trying to search for a tv show and i have already downloaded it watched the whole season
Even with a pistol pete PC!! and no crashes!! or using a Binary search program and have it come up with zero findings because of the obfuscations, and not even a NFO hit!!!.
Again for everyone, if that is what floats your boat to waste time on the safari hunt to find things out there by all means go ahead, been there, done that, and i am now not interested in doing it anymore......
Edit: Same as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, now your cable or satellite provider all have reliable web base connections to programing, but you can always use Kodi?? Yes Kodi is free, but watching a show and 5 min before the end it locks up or you lose the connection??
Not trying to say pay for everything out there, but pick your reliable poison and be happy.. Not sure if you can get Crave TV there??, similar to Netflix, looks pretty good on the licenses they got for broadcasting shows??

Like I have said before, I have a lot of patience and don't mind waiting. I only watch 2-3 episodes per day anyway.
Hunting down the files was a big part of the fun, and still is. I come from a generation that worked hard for everything we have. Of course every generation has its lazy bunch.
I have Seasons 1, 2, and 5 in 720p BluRay (DEMAND) so far. I thought about getting 1080p, but I have yet to get 1080p rips for any TV shows (including Sopranos, Breaking Bad, or The Wire). 720p is perfectly fine, especially for older shows. I can't think of any newer shows that deserve 720p/1080p copies.

And surely Netscape not Safari. Oh how the joys on Base64 and uudecode and yEnc, them were the days when 7bits was just enough. Now we are all older and maybe a bit wiser but there were some good times along the way

Thanks. I'm working on Season 3 now. A certain website seems to let me download 6 (instead of the usual 5) per day.
I actually plan on watching The Shield with my stepfather (he just turned 79). I only watched it once, when the show aired. He hasn't seen it. I am going to remodel my parent's upstairs bathroom (complete gut job) starting Jan. 2. Should give us enough time to watch the entire series.
