It was a very sexist show and that's what every eleven year old boy liked about it. Certainly wasn't the acting or the plot or that Howie guy.

Funny, it also left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I went for a full three day weekend with "Civil War" on Saturday, "Atlas" on Sunday and "The Fall Guy" on Monday. I'm sticking to remembrance and BBQ next Memorial Day Weekend.

Factoid: Kirsten Dunst husband Jesse Plemons was an un-credited actor in "Civil War" giving his brief part... you probably can guess why. Creepy stuff huh.

We ended up enjoying Fall Guy. The plot was thin, but really the entire show was made to work in a number of stunts and feel campy.

Just finished season 2. Seemed to like it more than what I remember about season 1.

It's been a bit dry lately big and small screens as of late, though "The Acolyte" and "Sweet Tooth" may look promising from a sugary, Disney / Star Wars, apocalyptic, mutant point of view.

That being said, I have a few back-up title full seasons available... (You mentioned one.) ...and they might be the ticket if it ever rains here again, as the heat has been quite oppressive lately and my A/C is crap.

    No doubt the 3rd season of OR will be good too! (Only a years wait.) {sigh}

    Monkey Man

Basically an Indian John Wick without the witty comments.

    Furiosa

Well... I do not feel compelled to watch the Black & Chrome edition.

Agreed! Waiting for the big screen to be over this summers doldrums, but just finished a few series on the small screen... standouts where "Mayor Of Kingstown" which is always decent, but predictable. "Dark Matter" that was interesting and mostly followed the novel. "Presumed Innocent" if you didn't read the novel or see the movie years past was a decent diversion.

Lately though, I'm just checking out my audiobook forum... (You know I don't read) ...which led me to "Lady In The Lake" a decent mystery thriller based in the '60s and of a novel of the same name. (Great period visuals I might add.)

Just cleaning up drives however of the usual film trash... I found "The Abandon (2024)" interesting, but I like that kind of stuff.

Mayor of Kingstown is a guilty pleasure. Not quite sure I liked the end, but maybe it wasn't the end? Is there another season announced?

Also catching up with "Vikings Valhalla" at the moment. After watching season 3 I realized I never watched the first two, so I started over... Good thing season 3 is a kind of a stand-alone storyline.

Besides Taylor Sheridan's pension to make money with a stream of hits... I would probably guess yes.

Funny you should mention "Vikings Valhalla"... I started watching a few episodes of season 1, then shelved it when my youngest moved in... (44 and a long story.) ...so I put all the seasons together on a portable SSD and will binge watch them all at a suitable time in the near future. Thanks for the tip on the 3rd season being stand-alone.

Watched "Despicable Me 4" this afternoon... okay for youngsters I suppose.

Hanging out with "Bad Monkey" based on the novel of the same name... good for a few laughs...
