Been watching Perry Mason(2020). The story is a bit hit or miss but Matthew Rhys(Perry), Chris Chalk(Paul Drake) and Juliet Rylance(Della) are terrific.

Just finished the second season of Condor. The ending felt a little rushed, and the story arc probably would have benefited fro an extra episode or two, but all in all...
The first season was better.

We both kinda agree* with Idol and now that "Perry Mason" has taken his rightful seat, we avidly are waiting for the last episode of this season.

Watched a film that was flagged by a friend on the streamer called "Mortal" (2020)... at first I thought it was just Firestarter-ish science fiction film with electricity, but it turned out to be a decent way to spend an otherwise boring Wednesday afternoon. Great Norwegian visuals too.
(What would we do without science fiction in cinema... )

Finished both Season 1 of Perry Mason and Condor. I enjoyed both but their season finales, well each failed to deliver the kind of conclusive ending that their stories deserved so I felt a little let down. Mason's was better as it at least was somewhat in line with the noir vibe the show's been trying to rep. Condor's seems rushed and the hero not having much of a say in what happened was unsatisfying. Also I agree with Caballero, too many deaths by at least one. They did a pretty good job of establishing characters and relationships and then they kept tossing them away.

Watched this one by accident; I think I really meant to watch "Snatch". Still, for some odd reason I had not watched it before and I was pleasantly surprised. Robert Downey Jr. is a decent actor when he's not drunk.
