On my friend comp he had the old version of WMP and all the codec, but avi's didn't play correctly. He downloaded WMP9 and it fixed it. Just a better player. Thos BS is the best.

me to, ive never had issues with it, yeah i know blah drm blah privacy blah resource hog but it suits me sir ( i do use videolan on occasion with dodgy files or i just change the .ext to get them to play )

Didn't know he had a CD, I just watch Conan, and comedy central allot, so I see the insult dog all the time.
