Stone Temple pilots guitarist Dena DeLeo and bassist Rober DeLeo have finally confirmed that the band are officially over. "to try to go on and accomplish something with this band after we've already peaked is a bit cheesy" says Robert "but i'm proud to look back at our career. i feel we've made a valid contribution to music"

I thought they split a couple years ago.
The color of this signature is really blue. If you see otherwise, please adjust your monitor settings.

Thats too bad. I really like STP. I remember when I bought Core, just after it came out. I was blown away. It was a big part of the soundtrack to my teen years, if you will.

It makes me sad and angry when you see a talented person, like Scott Weiland, who just can't shake his demons. His situation reminds me of Layne Staley from Alice In Chains. I just hope he doen't end up like Layne did.

So many bands have broken up... fortunately, the almighty dollar keeps many of them together. I give 'em 10 years, then we'll see a reunion tour.
