I know he's still a newbien, and thinks he need to show something off the wall to get noticed.

This interests me, skelley521. You have used Direct CD in a way I have never tried. I always used them on CDRW discs. I also believe that the facts you are posting are as they appear on your PC.

I would be curious to see if you copied all the files from the CD onto your hard drive what capacity would it show then.

I will try some experiments concerning this subject.

Didn't he say he used DirectCD on a 700MB CD-R? Last time I checked, DirectCD formats CD-RW's only... someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Place a blank CD-R in your burner, open the menu and select format.
Type the name that you want and hit return....all done.
The CD-R is now like a large floppy, you can write to it at any time until it is full (you can also remove it and add to it later), then when you want to close the disc, hit eject then the advance tab and select .iso format so you dont have to install a udf reader on your friends 'puters.

edit: when you want to leave it open so you can add to it later, just select ok on the eject screen. Only go to the advanced tab and select .iso when it is full.
