    Well...

...then there was the last 6 days were fraught with many highs and lows. Starting out with a neighbor that may or may not have showed symptoms of the C-19 virus. He is quite the hugger not a hand shake kinda guy who near collapsed in front of my eyes as I was trying to lend him some assistance. No mask on. I have not seen him since 6/19/20 he answered a text on Father’s Day, but calling goes straight to voicemail. I wish him well in either case.

And now of course I'm already bat shit crazy. (If I wasn't the last few months!)

    No more family visits.

    What a journey eh.

And the best part is, you're alive and able to tell us all this... unlike your neighbor it seems

    Indeed... It is a very bright side... a glass half full / half empty kinda measure. I hope for the best, but expect the worst... yeah, have to agree with you're sentiment . {sigh}

Always expect the worst. That way no matter what happens at least you won't be disappointed.

I found out this week that two people in my neighborhood (boyfriend/girlfriend, both working in the medical field) have it. The guy was working out with someone else, who also tested positive this week. That guy's kids go to daycare/school with my neighbors' kids... who play with ours and the other 6 kids living around us.

And the quarantine bubble has burst.

So far everyone else around us has tested negative (at least the adults), but it's getting closer.

I blame Governor Abbot and the rest of his Republican posse. Houston had the virus under control until he decided to open up the economy/state and passed an ordinance *forbidding* county officials and mayors to require masks in public. You could see that train wreck coming from a mile away.

It truly pains me to hear this... your absolutely right, as I'm seeing the damn burst here in Florida all around me as well.

Simple things like staying home, wearing a cheap friggin mask... and so many not socially distancing... I've seen it so, so many times... yeah, the flood gates are now truly open.

I blame our Governor Ron DeSantis for playing the Republican... {sigh} ...Trump card, blaming it all on testing and migrant workers... AND planning to open elementary schools just last week!

I swear he wants that RNC in Jacksonville so bad he's following Trumps orders like a puppy! Now, its the "young and irresponsible" causing it ...umm restaurants and bars opening???

    Now who is being irresponsible!!!

Sorry if I vented my feelings, but it's just wrong.

Keep the kids as safe as you can... that's what it's all about for me at least.

    Please Stay Safe.

I'm back at work, but we never stopped quarantining at home. I wear a PM2.5/N95 equivalent mask at work and at the few places I go.

Stay safe, my friends. You too, Idol.

Setting a great example... If I live, (of course I will!), I'll be looking at a half dozen or so of these...

I'm wearing versions of this. Because a mask is only as good as its seal, I have weather stripping along the upper portion near the cheeks, as well as a glasses keeper attached to the ear straps, which helps tighten it and relieve the pressure on my ears. Don't forget that the virus can enter through your eyes, so eye protection is very wise!

    Additional filters are available too.
