    Some people will believe anything.

That's what an undercover government agent trying to suppress the truth would say.

I knows dozens of people of varying health who've had it to essentially no ill-effect.

    "Asymptomatic" is the norm.

Interested to know what percentage of the population is expendable in your eyes?

I lost my uncle to it last week. Was he expendable?

I'd rather not play Russian Roulette with COVID if that's OK, even the slightest risk it could fuck you up is more than I'm prepared to chance.

Barbs, my sympathies and prayers are with you, your Uncle, and your famly.

    I agree 100%.

What I meant was, apart from that.

I actually lost an Aunt to Covid early, and have lost three in-laws since.

I know many people who have had it.

My point is that while many haven't experienced that loss, all of us have to develop a practical response to Covid's existence, and allowances are made on varying levels by everyone; that's just a pure fact.

Most decide to buck the odds occasionally.

    Again, sorry for your loss.

Another chapter from the book "A Blinding Flash of the Obvious" (2021 Edition):

As Cases Spread Across U.S. Last Year, Pattern Emerged Suggesting Link Between Governors' Party Affiliation and COVID-19 Case and Death Numbers

Their findings [...] revealed a clear pattern in which Democrat-led states were hardest-hit early in the pandemic, but after a few months Republican-led states on average began to have more positive tests, COVID-19 cases, and more COVID-19 deaths. The transition occurred for testing-positivity on May 30, for COVID-19 case diagnoses on June 3, and for COVID-19 deaths on July 4. The differences between the two groups of states peaked in the period from late June to early August—for example, on August 5 the relative risk of dying of COVID-19 was 1.8 times higher in GOP-led states.
And the great State of Texas just got rid of the mask mandate as of today. I don't understand how Governor Hotwheels thinks a re-election strategy based on killing your voters will lead to success...

This is ok but "Left Wing Shitbag" is offensive to you, I mean lifting your skirt and showing the double standards or better being a hypocrite, i would never think i would see from you

The mandate is lifted Lefty, but is your choice of doing what you want taken away from you?? You know the freedom of Choice thing

Stop being a child Cabby, it just doesn't suit you buddy

The same what is holding you in Texas i bet you could sell your house there in a heartbeat and always move to New York or California and i mean cheap!!!!....

Or are you fostering/taking in all the women and children with the Wuhan China Virus flocking over the border?? You know the fucking crisis that Hiden Biden is causing now, or the people that are really running the US??? What do you say about that??

It will never be a good time to open for the Left Wing Democrats, the "POWER" just feels so good!!!...........Again you always have choices my friend........

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money

I've seen drooling psych ward patients who've been shot full of lorazepam make more sense.

Then again, it wasn't a very high bar to clear.
    Respect my lack of authority.

    What didn't make sense??

What didn't you understand?? I didn't say Cabby didn't have the right to type in his opinion , but i have a right as well....

    What did you see different??

The same would he type in a apology like i did , after using a phrase/word that I didn't like ??

You the same are full of shit and you know that

That is the biggest problem, trying to find the middle being a conservative today, at one time they never spoke up, they just kept quiet and took what the Left spewed!!! Those days are done my friend!!!!, again if you live in a state or here a Province and you don't like how it is run, move the fuck out!!!!

That is not hard to understand is it Idol.....

Right now the Left has the power in the US to do as much damage as they choose for 2 years, then either it will change or it will get worse for 50% of the country....

And you may be obtuse and ignorant , but it is affecting us in Canada!!!!... Not the "Firm" scandal in the UK

    That is just reality........
